To preserve Sāmoan language, culture and the identity of our diaspora by remaining inclusively rooted in our core values of Alofa (Love), Tautua (Service) and Fa’aaloalo (Respect).
VISION (Va'aiga Mo Le Lumana'i)
To promote a safe learning space that is dedicated to education, leadership and building community that perpetuates Fa’a Sāmoa.
OBJECTIVE (Fa'amoemoega)
To achieve our mission we provide comprehensive and multi-modal educational programs, cultural workshops, and strategic community partnerships that are traditionally grounded while remaining relatable in the modern world.
CORE VALUES
1. Alofa (Love): Our community outreach is guided through the love and appreciation of our peoples unwavering generosity and ability to embrace a diversity of thought without prejudice or judgment.
2. Tautua (Service): Our guiding principle is to remain servant leaders of our diaspora, ensuring a clear path is available to all that seek out a deeper understanding of their Sāmoan identity.
3. Fa’aaloalo (Respect): Our integrity and values are anchored in the significant responsibility we hold to protect our vā and ensure respect remains central to everything we do.
LE GaFa is a non-profit organization, teaching Sāmoan Language online to kids and adults. LE GaFa also provides in-person classes and workshops. Follow us on social media to stay up-to-date!
